![]() It's only worth noting that the reason for the tech stuff in the Ascent series is precisely because it opens up things like this and the food processor attachment, and who knows what else in the future. The ease of use of the blade attachment with the blending bowls and cups is the big win for me with the Ascent series, but if those aren't important to you then the E310/E320 or 5200 seem like the way to go. It is something else that could go wrong, but if you are just using the blender with the regular knobs that the A2300 has, you wouldn't even know it could do anything else unless someone told you. ![]() I had the same fear, but the fancy tech stuff is really unobtrusive if you don't want to use it, and it has some neat applications. So if you just want to stick with the base device and don't care for or need the fancy new Vitamix options, you are probably better served with the 5200 than the A2300 as you may end up wanting to buy another container with the A2300. My impression from reading reviews of the food processor attachment, however, is that it isn't as good as a standalone food processor. To me that does not seem to be the case with the Ascent series stuff, and I use the blending cup every day. I myself like the Ascent tech upgrades and think they are useful rather than gimmicky - my big fear with newer versions of appliances is that the companies just overcomplicate things. Either of these needs to be purchased separately, however. Either the 48oz one or the blending cup (as the Ascent series has snazzy new Vitamix tech, there is a cool blade attachment that allows for blending in much smaller blending cups and bowls). So if you go with the Ascent you will probably want to buy another container. ![]() The size of the container means your really want about 3 or more cups of ingredients, which would be a 24oz smoothie or more - great if you are making it for 2+ servings, but otherwise. I agree that the container that comes with the A2300, which is the low profile 64oz container, is not ideal for single serving smoothie blending. Worst case scenario is that I return it before the 30 days runs out. I am worried about single servings but will have to see for myself how it performs. A few reasons why I ended up choosing it: the future-proofing that the ascent line offers, the versatility of the container (not having a super narrow bottom like the 5200), and the presets (for the convenience, the small price bump from the A2300 seems to be worth it). Thoughts on which one to get?Įdit: After reading all of the comments and going over my priorities, I've actually decided to go for the A2500. The newer technology on the Ascent isn't too important for me, I just want a blender that makes amazing smoothies, but is not tied down because of it. Since the A2300 is in the ascent line, it offers many more potential containers, like the food processor. ![]() I will definitely make more than just smoothies in the blender. However, I'd also like a versatile blender. Based off research, if seems like the narrow container is better for single servings. My primary reason for buying a vitamix is to make smoothies (single servings for the most part). I'm having a tough time making a decision on which vitamix to buy - the 5200 or the A2300. ![]() The boundary was then placed approximately at what is now Columbia Street. Many of the countries with strong export growth were operating along downward sloping supply curves and selling products that substituted for those previously supplied by the US or China. The researchers find that the winners and losers in the trade war are explained primarily by heterogeneity in exporters’ responses to trade-war-induced price changes, rather than by specialization patterns. Because of this response from the rest of the world, on net, they calculate that the trade war raised global trade by 3 percent. These nations did more than reallocate global trade flows across destinations their overall exports to the world increased. The researchers further find that trade in the products targeted by the tariffs increased among bystander countries. China’s exports to the US declined by 8.5 percent and its exports to the rest of the world rose by a statistically insignificant 5.5 percent. US exports to China fell by 26.3 percent while exports to the rest of the world increased modestly, by 2.2 percent. The US and China reduced exports of products subject to increased tariffs. ![]() With the evolution of the digital age, application of freedom of speech becomes more controversial as new means of communication and restrictions arise, for example, the Golden Shield Project, an initiative by Chinese government's Ministry of Public Security that filters potentially unfavourable data from foreign countries. The idea of the "offense principle" is also used to justify speech limitations, describing the restriction on forms of expression deemed offensive to society, considering factors such as extent, duration, motives of the speaker, and ease with which it could be avoided. However, in a legal sense, the freedom of expression includes any activity of seeking, receiving, and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.Īrticle 19 of the UDHR states that "everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference" and "everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression this right shall include freedom to seek, receive, and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form of art, or through any other media of his choice".
